The Massachusetts Board of Registration of Real Estate Brokers and Salespersons defines a Seller's Agent as follows:
"When a seller engages the services of a listing broker, that seller becomes the broker's client. This means the broker, and its subagents, represent the seller. They owe the seller undivided loyalty, utmost care, disclosure, obedience to lawful instruction, confidentiality and accountability. They must put the seller's interest first and negotiate for the best price and terms for their client, the seller."

At Boston Realty Net, our agents have listed and sold properties from brownstone condominiums in Back Bay to suburban Multifamily and single family homes.

Boston Realty Net Seller Brokerage Services include:

  • We will provide you with a Comparative Market Analysis to determine the current market value of your property. We will thoroughly research all properties similar to yours which have sold recently. We will also look at similar properties which may not have sold.
  • We will develop a color listing sheet for your property which highlights all features and amenities. We will provide color pictures and floorplans on the listing sheet.
  • We will list your property in both LINK and MLS, the two property databases accessed by almost every agent in Boston and Massachusetts. Not every real estate company subscribes to both services. It is in your best interest to have all agents in the city and state aware of your listing. The listing will include links to pictures, floorplans and/or a panoramic virtual tour.
  • We will create an Online Listing Page for your property on our web site, complete with pictures, floorplan(s) and/or a virtual tour.
  • We will advertise your property weekly in print media such as the Boston Globe, Boston Homes Magazine and other local publications. We will also put a sign in front of your building and an advertisement on our signboard in front of our office, which is in the heart of Newbury Street. Our internet advertising includes placement on such sites as,,,,, and many more real estate magazine sites.
  • We will host a Catered Broker Open House for the real estate community during the week prior to the first public Open House. This will allow many other agents to preview the listing for their buyers and also help to generate the buzz necessary for a well-attended open house.
  • We will hold an Open House every Sunday until your property sells. This will be advertised thoroughly in print media and online. We will also inform many current and past clients of your property and the open houses through our comprehensive databases.
  • We will market your property through many channels, including letters and emails to other owners in the building/complex and neighborhood, current previous Boston Realty Net clients and the many referral networks we have created with many national and local companies, universities and hospitals, among others.
  • We coordinate the home inspection and provide access to excellent attorneys if you may need one. We will coordinate the signing of the Purchase & Sale Agreement and create an escrow for all deposits. We will make sure all of the necessary paperwork has been completed and the buyer's loan commitment has been obtained. We will ensure conscientious work to provide a smooth transition from accepted offer to the closing.
